Hey, I'm Manasi 👋
I'm studying bioengineering at the University of Pennsylvania and have worked on projects across women's health, fertility, and healthcare distribution across the US.
Previously, I built a multi-context model to support patients and coaches with Evvy's R&D team; co-founded Elysian, a daily healthcare assistant mapping triggers and flare-ups for women with chronic pain; and did research at Family Empowerment Media, enabling informed family planning decisions through radio-based communication to millions across Nigeria.
I'm fascinated by hard problems. I'm currently exploring deeply embedded inefficiencies in industrial problems, the history of the power grid, and the globalization of hardware.
I have a love for exploring the world, craft, and taste. Some of the most recent endeavors that have changed my life include visiting World Expo 2025 in Osaka, filmmaking in Uganda, running long distances, and learning film photography.
Some of my favorite books include The Chosen by Chaim Potok, When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi, The Lowland by Jhumpa Lahiri, Unreasonable Hospitality by Will Guidara, The Body Keeps the Score by Bessel van der Kolk, Educated by Tara Westover, and Story of Your Life by Ted Chiang.
